NOTICE OF MAIL BALLOT ELECTION

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN and particularly to the electors of the Walsh Hospital District of Baca
County, State of Colorado:
NOTICE IS HEREBY given that a regular election of the Walsh Hospital District shall be held on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. The election is being conducted as a mail ballot election.

At said election, the electors of the District shall vote for two Directors to serve the following terms of office on the Board of Directors of the District:
The names of persons nominated as Director for a FOUR-Year Term

Ballot Issue A certified by the Walsh Hospital District:

SHALL WALSH HOSPITAL DISTRICTS PROPERTY TAXES BE INCREASED
$694,225 ANNUALLY, COMMENCING IN 2025 AND COLLECTED IN 2026, OR BY SUCH AMOUNT AS MAY BE RAISED ANNUALLY THEREAFTER BY THE IMPOSITION OF AN ADDITIONAL MILL LEVY RATE OF UP TO 20 MILLS ON THE ASSESSED VALUATION OF REAL PROPERTY LOCATED WITHIN THE DISTRICT CONTINUING THEREAFTER; WITH THE NET PROCEEDS OF SUCH TAX TO BE COLLECTED, RETAINED AND SPENT FOR THE PURPOSES OF THE DISTRICT THROUGH ITS GENERAL FUND AND SHALL THE DISTRICT BE AUTHORIZED TO COLLECT, RETAIN AND EXPEND ALL REVENUE DERIVED FROM SUCH TAX AS A VOTER APPROVED REVENUE CHANGE AND AN EXCEPTION TO LIMITS WHICH WOULD OTHERWISE APPLY UNDER ARTICLE X, SECTION 20 OF THE COLORADO CONSTITUTION OR ANY OTHER LAW.

The office is open Monday through Friday, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., beginning at least 22 days prior to Election Day (April 14th) and from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Election Day of May 6th.
